Do you know Norwegian Buhund?

When we were taking a walk yesterday, I was asked if Kaiya and Mato were Norwegian Buhund.

I've never heard of that breed.

I told her they were Kai ken and then she said "they look so alike!"

It got me curious, so I googled real quick.  But the first pictures which came up were creamy colored dogs.

Hmm... I just didn't understand why she said that they looked alike...

This morning when we were taking a walk, a lady with a black dog asked me from behind what kind of breed Kaiya and Mato were.

Kai ken, answered I.  Then she said " I though they were Norwegian Buhund like mine right here."

Whaaaat!! It was only yesterday I got to know the existence of this breed, and I got to see the real one today!

He had a white spot on his chest but some Kais have that, too.  Mato also has 10 pieces of white hair on his chest. lol

When I looked closer, I found him little bigger and more sturdy than my Kais and his tail was curly and thinner, I think.

Over all, they are very similar...same spitz type with long muzzle, prick ears, long legs...pretty much the same body form.

I asked if it's ok to take some photos of him and she asked me the same, too.   We took some photos of each other's dogs then we said bye.

It was an interesting morning.

After we got home, I googled again about  Buhund, but deeper this time.

Yep, there are black ones like I saw this morning.  Plus, Buhund and Kai ken has more in common and I'm fond of this breed now ;)

ノルウェジアン・ブーフントって知ってる？？

昨日散歩をしていた時に　"この子たちは　ノルウェジアン・ブーフント？"　って尋ねられたんだぁ。

私 初めて聞いた名前の犬種だわぁ〜。

うちの子たちは甲斐犬だよって答えたら　"すごく似てるなぁ〜" って。

そんなに似てるのかと思ってすぐにちょっと検索したら　真っ先に出てきたのがクリーム色の犬の写真ばかりで　そんなに似てないじゃん？なんて思っていたのが昨日。

今朝の散歩の途中黒い犬を連れた人に後ろから　"その子たちは　何犬？"　って声をかけられた。

甲斐犬だよって　答えたら　"この子と同じ　ノルウェジアン・ブーフントかと思った！" って・・・　

えぇぇぇ〜！！！　昨日の今日で初めて知って初めて本物見れた。

しかもこの子は黒い子で すんごく似てる〜！！！！！

胸に白い毛があったけど　甲斐犬もそういう子いるしねぇ。Matoも１０本くらい白毛胸にあるし（笑）

よく見るとうちの子たちより　少し大きめがっしりしてて　尻尾は甲斐犬より細めで巻尾。

でも同じスピッツタイプだから　マズルが長めで耳が立ってて足長くて 体のフォームは同じ感じ。

せっかくだから　写真撮らせてもらったら　向こうもうちの子たちの写真を撮らせてって　お互い似た犬種の写真を撮って　バイバイしたよぉ〜！( ´∀｀)

うちに帰ってきてから　今度はもう少し真剣に調べたらちゃんと黒いブーフント出てきた〜！

甲斐犬に似ているところが多くて　なんだか親近感が湧いたわん(⌒▽⌒)

ということで　今日ははなんとも美しすぎる朝。いつものように長い散歩へ行って楽しんだよぉ〜！
